"Sharp Shinned Hawk" by Debbie Oppermann. I was just going to take some pics of Finches that were on their way to my Spruce trees when the Finches changed direction and in flew this small Sharp Shinned Hawk which landed in the Maple tree in spring bud. It is amazing that the small birds could see or knew it was coming before it got there. The bird of prey ended up leaving without lunch on this day.
